My name is Karen Yang and I am a young Asian American artist. Through experimentations of colors, words and technologies, my works explore discussions of mental health, identity and women’s rights. For me, art serve as both a personal escape and a platform for advocacy. Visual art is my primary medium, and I use unique medias to layer dimensions in my presentations. My “talking canvases” celebrate vulnerability, weave networks of connection, and invite openness around sensitive topics. My art is a call to engage, reflect, understand and innovate, sparking meaningful conversations and expanding perspectives.
